Now your wish can be realized at the No.28 Middle School in Nanchang, east China's Jiangxi province, with parents receiving their children's information via mobile phone short messages.
All the students in Nanchang No.28 Middle School are supposed to brush their campus ID cards on a pilot Information Management System every day before entering or leaving school. With their ID card imprints, the system will automatically transmit to their parents information about their children's arrival at or leave from school.
Furthermore, other information related to the student, such as exam scores and dates, are also made available to their parents via the pilot ID card system.
According to the school authority, such ID card imprinters has been installed in 16 places on campus.
