NEW YORK, Oct. 2 (Xinhua) -- Crude futures fell Tuesday as the dollar rebounded against several foreign currencies.
In recent days, oil futures have fallen as the dollar has strengthened. Some analysts believed oil's September rally to record levels was due in part to speculative buying by investors taking advantage of the weak dollar.
Light, sweet crude for November delivery fell 19 cents Tuesday to settle at 80.05 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
In London, November Brent crude fell 26 cents to settle at 77.38 dollars a barrel on the ICE Futures exchange.
